Dr. Reetu Julakanti is an optometrist at Mudgil Eye Associates, where she cares for patients of all ages. She provides comprehensive medical eye exams, in-house post-operative care, myopia management with MiSight, dry eye treatment, and contact lens fittings.
Dr. Julakanti earned her Doctor of Optometry from Indiana University School of Optometry and a Bachelor of Science, cum laude, from the University of Cincinnati. She went on to complete a residency in pediatric optometry and vision therapy at The Eye Institute, Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Drexel University in Philadelphia.
During her training she focused on pediatric and binocular vision care, myopia control, and the management of conditions such as strabismus, amblyopia, and post-concussion vision problems. Warm, patient, and genuinely passionate about eye care, she takes the time to get to know every patient and is now accepting new patients of all ages.
